Our Purpose

Our church mission statement reads:

As a church, we strive individually and jointly to grow in Christ,

celebrate God’s love,

and extend God’s love and Word to others.

Although these three major goals do overlap in some respects, we broadly view them as follows:

We grow in Christ when we take advantage of learning opportunities that increase our knowledge of and responsiveness to the good news of the Gospel.

We celebrate God’s love by participating wholeheartedly in our church worship services and other worship opportunities.

We extend God’s love and Word to others through our church fellowship activities and through our outreach to persons in need of material or spiritual support, both within and beyond our church community.

As a church, we try our best--through a variety of programs and other activities--to help all our members and friends accomplish each of these goals in their own lives.

The Programs section describes our programs in more detail.  We hope you will find a number of activities that match up well with your own current interests and life-journey needs.
